| Version
6.0 of I'm InTouch is now available for all subscribers with a host of new features, updates, and improvements. With Version 6 you can: |
|||||||||
|
Why
settle for remotely working on one monitor when you can work on two!
I'm InTouch now supports dual monitor display setups on both the Host and
Remote computer. Whether you are using a single display to connect to a
dual display on your remote computer, dual displays to connect to a single
display, or dual displays to connect to dual displays, I'm InTouch will
automatically detect and configure your setup for you. |
I'm InTouch's Go Direct feature has been expanded to support direct connections in corporate WANs where PCs are on different LAN segments. Go Direct allows computers on the same network to connect directly for improved speeds without opening a port on the firewall. |
||||||||
New Chat Feature
Allows
you to send and receive messages on screen between the remote and client
PC, perfect for conducting remote training sessions. Trainees can log in
remotely to the instructor's PC and pose questions in real-time
about what they are seeing. |
Improved Vista Support
Version 6.0 includes support for the new Windows Mail, Contacts, and Calendar in Windows Vista. These can be accessed from the My Outlook tab of I'm InTouch. |

| 01 Communique Continues to Protect its Intellectual Property | |||||||||
|
01 Communique holds a U.S. patent for a private portal technology allowing a remote computer to locate and communicate with a PC connected to the Internet even if the PC is behind a firewall. This technology is used in I'm InTouch and 01 believes Citrix is infringing on this patent with their GoToMyPC product.

Q. I am having problems using I'm InTouch to access a Windows Vista computer with a non-administrator user account, what should I do? A. If you are installing I'm InTouch on a Windows Vista computer with non-administrator user accounts, turn off User Access Control for increased reliability.
|
|||||||||
|
Q. When I add additional users to my I'm InTouch they cannot control the mouse or keyboard on the host computer. How do I give them full remote control? A. By default, anytime you create a new
user, they are for "view only" meaning they
are not given permission to control the mouse
or keyboard on the host computer.
