In the past, taking a cruise to the Antarctic would mean leaving the rest of the world behind while you visited one of the most remote places on the planet. John Kercher, from Tampa, FL, was getting ready for a much deserved vacation aboard a cruise ship bound for the Antarctic but knew that he could not afford to neglect his responsibilities as CEO of Kercher Industries, and President of the Ohio Wesleyan University Alumni “W” Association.

John began looking at various remote access services and ultimately chose 01 Communique’s I’m InTouch remote access software. Not only would he be able to control his computer remotely with I’m InTouch, but he could use the My Outlook feature to quickly check and respond to his Emails, even in low-bandwidth environments. This would be especially important given the unreliability of Internet connections in the Antarctic.
So how did I’m InTouch perform in the cold and icy climate of the Antarctic? “I’m InTouch worked exactly as advertised,” John said. With I’m InTouch, you never have to be cut off from your work, even if you are in the coldest, windiest, and driest place on Earth.
You don't have to be in the Antarctic to benefit from I'm InTouch -

Q. I added a new user in I'm InTouch but this user cannot use the mouse or keyboard when remotely accessing my computer. How do I fix this?
A. When you create new users in I'm InTouch, by default they are not provided with keyboard and mouse control. To fix this, from your host computer:
- Double-click the green I'm InTouch satellite icon in your system tray.
- Click User Information from the left navigation panel and change the Current User drop down to the desired user.
- Click the Access Rights button and ensure Allow mouse and keyboard input is checked and click OK.

- Repeat for any other users you wish to provide mouse and keyboard control to.
Adding users allows you to hold online meetings and training sessions from your PC. Add users to allow other people to temporarily view your computer screen. Click Here to learn more about this feature. |
