Feature Focus: Remote Printing

With I'm InTouch's remote desktop printing feature, users can print any document that is stored on the distant PC to a local printer.  For example, if an employee is remotely accessing a program application that is running on their office PC, they can print the information by redirecting the print job request from the remote printer to their local printer.  In fact, they don’t even require the program application on their local home computer to complete the print job.

The remote desktop printing feature is easy to set up and to use. First, check which printers you would want to print to when you are away from the office. Ensure that you have the drivers for these printers available on your office PC. Install these drivers on your office PC (or the PC running I'm InTouch) before you leave. During a remote access session, use the remote desktop printing feature to set up the remote printing function. You will then be able to print remote documents on your office PC to your local printer!
