Provide or receive PC technical support across the Internet

Tip of the month

I'm InTouch remote access and Motorola homesight™ monitoring and control system work together to give you peace of mind.

I'm InTouch users enjoy the peace of mind that comes from knowing that any information on their PC can be remotely accessed from anywhere, anytime. Now, I'm InTouch is available through a Motorola offering that allows users to easily see what is happening at their home or office by remotely logging in to their homesight™ monitoring, security and control system. The combined solution allows users to keep a watchful eye while they are away. They can remotely view the systems wireless cameras, using I'm InTouch and any PC connected to the Internet to know when kids get home from school, to check for system messages about windows and doors being opened and even monitor temperature levels and for water leaks. Provide or receive PC technical support across the Internet

Know someone experiencing PC troubles? Do you wish that a family member or friend who might be able to help you or that you could help, lived closer? With I'm InTouch™ remote access service installed on the computer that needs some tender loving care, the user of the PC has the ability to give anyone they trust the rights to remotely log in to their PC.

Using a confidential remote access login password provided to them by the I'm InTouch user and their own Internet-connected PC (no additional software required on it), the technical guru can log in to view and control the PC, just as if they were sitting at it. The user at the "troubled" PC can even watch what the techie does as they work on the PC from a distance.

Sandy Pollack, an I'm InTouch user says, "My dad, who is 89...is using Windows 98. From 400 miles away, I provide the technical support and have spent thousands of hours running the 'help desk.' Now when he calls me with a problem, rather than going through a long, frustrating question and answer session as to what is happening, I am able to link to his computer and see exactly what is occurring. I can quickly assess the problem and either instruct him or perform the proper action myself. I can perform updates and procedures remotely without frustrating him (or me) with the details...Life is easier."

I'm InTouch remote access service, makes it secure and easy to connect to any PC with the I'm InTouch software installed on it, from any other computer in the world. To learn more and to start your free 30-day trial, visit the I'm InTouch website.

Invite Guests to your PC running I'm InTouch to give online demonstrations or training.

I'm InTouch can act as a simple and efficient web conferencing tool for your business to increase sales. The service supports up to 10 guest users visiting your PC at the same time. This feature is a great tool when the need arises to do a quick online presentation to a potential prospect, provide a demo, or for just showing someone something on your PC immediately. Guests can be restricted from local mouse and keyboard input for “viewing only” during the session.

Step One - From your PC with I'm InTouch installed on it, open the I'm InTouch configuration tool by double clicking the green satellite in the bottom right of your display.

Step Two - From the screen that opens, select User Information from the menu at the left of the screen.

Step Three - Select the Add New User button at the bottom of the User Information screen.

It's simple to use and could be just the tool to help you increase sales.

Customer Testimonials

"My compliments to the entire 01 Comm team. I have been using your product for almost a year and have been very, very happy with the features, performance and the support. I work from home several times a week and travel on business - because of "I'm InTouch” I can always get access to my desktop at work. Thanks again for the opportunity to use your product."

Barbara Buda, Verizon

"We are a very small school district and cannot afford an IT person on the payroll. We were using a local person from one of the universities to help us with our networking needs. He moved to another state and we still needed his expertise, so we explored many ideas and decided I'm in Touch is the answer for us. He accesses our server with I'm InTouch and then through the server can repair any of our computers or networking problems without anyone being on site. Good solution for limited budgets."

Mickey J. Maynard Principal, Grove School Okalahoma

"In my business I need to stay connected at all times. My BlackBerry handheld has proven to be a valuable tool to help me stay connected and manage my business while away from the office. I recently started using I'm InTouch to access files back at the office with my BlackBerry handheld. This gives me instant and easy access to any file back at the office, which helps me improve my response time to business associates and clients. I can access any file just as if I were in the office and then read the file and/or send it as an attachment."

B. Frank Duffy, First Treasury
