System Architecture Security Features

  • SSL 128-bit end-to-end data encryption
  • passwords stored only at user's PC
  • end to end authentication, dual passwords required for login
  • retains OS-level access controls already in place on PC
  • multiple failed log-in attempts will result in lock-out
  • session time-out after defined period of inactivity
  • no remote session data stored on I'm InTouch servers
  • standard firewall ports 80 & 443 used only, eliminating need to open ports on firewalls
   

 Where are my I'm InTouch passwords stored?

 

I'm InTouch passwords are stored on your PC  running I’m InTouch ONLY. 

   

  How can I change my I'm InTouch passwords?

 

To change passwords when you are at the PC running I'm InTouch, double click the green satellite in your taskbar, and open the I'm InTouch program window. Navigate to the User Information screen. In this screen, type in your new Login Name and Password, then click Apply. To change your My Desktop password, click Access Rights on this screen, change the password, and click Apply. 

To change passwords when away from the PC running I'm InTouch, log in to your remote PC and select "Configuration" feature from the Home Page. Choose the Password Management option, change your password, and then select the Submit button.
