My Outlook

This feature allows a user to directly access their Outlook or Outlook Express Inbox, sent items, contact list and calendar using a unique graphical user interface and eliminates the need for a user to use the My Desktop feature to navigate their desktop to get to their Outlook application. This is particularly useful when logging in from a low speed Internet connection to simply view email and for wireless device users it ensures the user of access to their email but without having to try to navigate a remote display of their desktop on a small wireless device screen. You have the ability to view all Outlook items and to manage them. Messages can be composed and sent, forwarded, deleted, replied to, and marked as unread. Contact and calendar entries can be viewed, created, edited and deleted. All remote actions are immediately updated at the desktop of the computer running I’m InTouch so that when the user returns to their desktop, all data is current.

I’m InTouch’s My Outlook feature is also able to handle email attachment viewing. When working from a remote location I'm InTouch will open the attachment using the built in I’m InTouch viewer, capable of viewing more than fifty file formats. The I’m InTouch viewer converts the contents of the file into a HTML page that can be viewed on any wired or wireless device with an Internet browser, even if that application is not resident on the device the user is logging in from.

I'm InTouch can also automatically notify a user of any new email messages being received at their office PC. Notification of new email comes as a short text message to the users wireless device identifying the sender, subject and the first few words of the message. The user then logs into I'm InTouch to review the full message that has arrived at their PC. An important feature of the email notification service is that you can filter your email so that you only receive an email notification from addresses that you choose.

I'm InTouch includes full access to your contacts and calendar and allows you to view and edit any entry. Any changes or amendments that you make to your calendar and contacts are processed in real-time on your desktop. This feature allows for your PC to be the single location for contact and calendar storage thus eliminating the need to synchronize your PDA with your desktop.
