My Desktop

The My Desktop feature of I’m InTouch allows a remote user to view and run any application that is resident on their computer at the office. Commonly referred to as remote control functionality or screen sharing, when the user successfully authenticates and logs into the I’m InTouch remote access system, a window opens on their local PC that provides a complete view of their office PC, including all the applications, files and networked drives. The user can interact in real time with their computer over the Internet from anywhere in the world as if they were sitting in front of it. The Remote control capability is also possible from Pocket PC devices. 

The full functionality Remote Desktop Viewer with advanced toolbar allows:

• sizing the desktop viewer to your preference
• the ability to send CTRL-ALT-DEL command to XP, 2000 and 2003 host PC’s
• the ability to transfer files between PC’s
• the ability to cut and paste text between PC’s

Note – remote access from a Pocket PC device provides full desktop viewing and control while other wireless devices only support viewing and management of Outlook and Outlook Express, Files, Contacts and Calendar.

File Transfer interface within My Desktop

Provides the ability to transfer files between your local and remote computers. Remote computer is the one with I’m InTouch installed on it.  User selects the file(s) they wish to transfer from either the Local or Remote Computer window pane by selecting the file(s) icon, and then drag and drop to the appropriate folder of either the Local or Remote Computer. You can select one or more files in the same folder. You can delete file(s) or create new folders on either of the two computers
